DRIFT - The Movie (now in Cinemas)

You have gotta do yourself a favour and see this 1970's based Australian surf drama which is currently screening at the major cinemas.

It was mostly shot around Margaret River WA during some of last winter's epic swells and features a few of the hot locals as surfing stunt doubles...ripping on single fins!

Big wave legend, Ross Clarke-Jones (who plays a minor role), says he's seen all the surf related mainstream movies over the years and this beats them all hands down. After checking it out yesterday i certainly agree with RCJ!

"The Longest Wave" - a Bleach Festival event celebrating Damon Harvey's epic ride from Snapper to Kirra

The annual Bleach Festival is up and running with a multitude of connected displays, events and music.

As they say there's something for everyone, and all with a surf lifestyle theme. The iconic Alley Fish Fry

(a celebration of alternate surfboards) is now part of the Bleach Festival and is on Sat 23rd Feb at

Currumbin Alley.
