Board Culture was founded in 1995 at Mermaid Beach, taking over from Town & Country (T&C). The business has been under new ownership since 2009 and now caters for a wide range of surfing preferences. We recently added an quality instore coffee bar via our collaboration with Addict Espresso.

We have a reputation for having the coolest, independently owned surf shop on planet Gold Coast. It's where you'll find a great range of new and used shortboards, longboards and bodyboards, as well as cutting edge surf and street wear. In short, everything for the serious surfer and committed learner.

In a landscape littered with soul-less corporate stores in shopping malls, one thing that makes Board Culture unique is that the owners and all of the staff are surfers. And we are passionate about the quality boards we stock and ride. Sorry, no cheap Chinese imported surfboards here, just stuff that works and lasts from some of the world's best brands and shapers.
